Well, Ken was actually made to be a palette swap originally for Ryu but he had a name. SO TECHNICALLY RYU HAS FOUGHT HIMSELF.

| I'm serious, how is half of that crap ripping off Inuyasha?
They're not even in the same pose, let alone look that similar. They just have vague similarities.
"OH MAN, THEY'RE HOLDING SMALL ITEMS IN THEIR HANDS! NOT EVEN WITH THE SAME EFFECTS OR POSITION, BUT IT'S JUST THE FACT HE'S HOLDING A SMALL OBJECT THAT MAKES IT A RIPOFF!" "OOH LOOK THE HOGYOKU IS LIKE A JEWEL, IT MUST BE A RIPOFF OF THE JEWEL FROM INUYASHA!" "OOH BIG SWORDS AND RAGGED CLOTHES, NEVER MIND THE SWORDS LOOK ALMOST NOTHING ALIKE AND THE CLOTHES DON'T EITHER, NOR THE MAIN CHARACTERS LOOKING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUT JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE TWO SIMILARITIES MAKES IT A RIPOFF!" "OH SHIT, EVIL MODES! NEVER MIND THAT BOTH ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUT JUST THE FACT IT'S AN EVIL MODE MAKES IT A RIPOFF!" "OH SNAP, SPIRAL ATTACKS! NEVER MIND THAT ICHIGO'S ISN'T EVEN A SPIRAL BUT MORE LIKE A CRESCENT BEAM RATHER THAN THE OTHER WHICH IS LIKE A TORNADO IT'S OBVIOUSLY A RIPOFF BECAUSE IT CAN BEND!"
Alright... that last one quite literally makes no fucking sense at all, so I'll just hold in the stupid comment on that.

Alright... that last one quite literally makes no fucking sense at all, so I'll just hold in the stupid comment on that. -unkillable villain has control of the object of infinite power -both are insanely powerful objects that grant wishes to the user (if that supposed spoiler that 4chan's been going on about for the past two days is to be believed) -swords that dont follow the law of conservation of mass (though, admittedly this could be said of most anime swords) -turning into horrifying monsters with no control over themselves, usually injuring teamates in the process (though again, this does occur fairly often in other series as well) -spiral attacks? the wind scar is a crescent shockwave (or at least the early-series one was), usually about five of them. you're thinking of the backlash wave. and it was more about characters spamming their crescent shockwave attacks while shouting their names loudly (again, fairly common in anime) -annoying weakling (despite having agruably some of the best powers in their respective series) girl that shouts the main character's name FAR too much. i found it on 4chan and thought it was worth pointing out.

The Hogyoku does not grant wishes, it turns you into a hollow. - Quote :

And the same can't be said about anime villains being generally unkillable until the end? - Quote :

Still fairly common. | |

The Hogyoku does not grant wishes, it turns you into a hollow. (newest chapter up at mangastream.com) apparently aizen would like a word with you.
