Flash Point

Well, there was only 2 real fights in this film, but they were good. It also had Collin Chou in it, and through the whole film I thought he was Lui Kang in Mortal Kombat. But I looked it up and that was Robin Shou, while Collin Chou was Seriph in the Matrix sequels. Knew I recognised him.

I am also now convinced that Donnie Yen is the biggest hardass in cinema.

donnie yen is godly compared to other martial artists

i mean even that armbar in the first scene is one of the coolest things i've seen in a film

he is totally trying to cater to the UFC fans now i think

well he's in once upon a time in china 2, blade 2, hero, shanghai knights
but in all of those he's a villain

You should get Kill Zone.

By the way, who comes up with these names. I have no idea what the titles Flash Point or Kill Zone have to do with either of the stories in those two films.

alright will do

no idea about kill zone
but i would guess flash point is due to the volatile nature of donnie yen's character

i mean i liked this film for donnie yen
but all round it was actually a pretty good movie
maybe i watched too many jackie chan films or something
but donnie yen's somewhat psychotic character was a fairly refreshing change for a hong kong cop film

I'm gonna watch Ip Man next. Supposed to be amazing. Has Sammo in it as well.

Donnie yen is amazing I watched IP man and Ip man 2, the sequel was a bit shitty but sammo hung crapped it up, by not being of teh calibre of the guys in the first film. Gonna watch killzone later.

Thanks to Buu and his constant nagging the donnie yen fan club gains two new members in myself and my father. He's pretty epic, I am shocked that I never heard about him before. (Y)
