How fast do you reckon the z-fighters are?

I mean while watching dbz you continually see someone apprently disappear and reappear
there obviously meant to be moving really quickly, not teleporting

what i find kinda strange about this is even someone who is considerably slower can keep track of a fight while on the ground
but to equals in power can still apparently get behind the other without them noticing

Apparently Raditz can go at light speed . Although they considerably slow down DBZ in the anime a ton so that you can actually see what the hell people are doing.

Yeah there seems to be too types of fast movement one in battle which becomes much more fast but not sustainable and one for travelling. It is odd that opponents of similar power can dissapear to the opponent however maybe its an extension of the after image technique where they just relocate quickly/
