ATTN: anyone playing yakuza 3

apparently even if you get finished for missions you can still get the secret boss fight and the golden gun

its not as strict as the others

also there is premium new game (this basically lets you play the game with the stas and items from previous go
premium adventure mode lets you re enter the game with out the main story allowing you to complete any missions you missed

so should be possible to get 100% even after you finish the game this way
i think you can then use this data to start a new game

i would have bought this yesterday but then i saw l4d1 and disgaea 3 on sale ^_______________________^

As always in these games its not a decent scale of how far you are through the chapter length varies.

Check your completeion % and how many subimissions you've done that will give you a better clue.

does this one have an adventure review mode?

Yeah

there's a total of 121 side missions including hitman missions. The hitman missons are the best part of the whole game.

I dunno if you got the DLC free my version did and thats got some awesome modes. Like a tag mode with you and majima. A kinda survival mode where you run through the streets facing every single boss in the game.

i assume the code becomes invalid after one use, right? i bought mine used so yeah...

Uh that sucks. I guess your not missing out that much though, as you get decent tag matches in the game you just can't face the bosses.

Survival mode is good but hard.

The battle mode is plenty of fun and you'll have that you know the usual thing.

that was one of my favorite side missions in two

i dislike how they limit the amount you can bet now in roulette too. guess they realized people like me were taking advantage of it to make millions of yen in minutes

There is no hostess bar content in this game, they removed it and then gave us DLC free instead. I hated the hostess bars so it really worked out for me.

It will b e back in 4 though which is out in like 6-8 months.

i didn't like doing the hostess bars either aside from getting the experience for it, but i liked the one where you were the boss of the hostess club

Oh i remember whqat your talking about now. Yeah that mission was alright. I dunno if the novelty would wear off though if i did it in successive games. It being back in 4 is a good thing though i think, i'll probably be a lot more patient with it now, if i was doing that 3 games straight though $%^@$%^%^@

Yeah its probably better they got rid of the abusable gambling. Otherwise i'd have been carrying around way too many awesome weapons.

You think its worth me buying kenzan? I'm still debating getting it, but a game in japanese is like really hardcore.

i want kenzan but only if it gets translated.

i guess you could use a faq to get through it but i find that takes away from the enjoyment

yeah i don't think i could be assed to do side quesrs like that.
