God, I love this game. The characters are wonderful, the villain is actually detestable and so is the guy who's fighting against him, the music is... well some tracks are above-average and others are pretty dull.
The battle system is as dull as I remember, but I didn't care, the story was excellent enough to keep me playing despite the annoying grinding for Tarot cards and such and it had better get a fucking PSP remake.
Anyways, I'm dowloading Eternal Punishment to my PSP right now, I'll see if that's any good too.
