Orca's faster than the Sea Dragon.

And the Sea Dragon mostly hangs out in front of the land closest to the entrance/exit of the area. I don't ever recall him bothering to chase you near the important islands(like that tower and stuff) you need to go to now.

This doesn't help me when I'm scared shitless of even seeing that enormous fucker.

Let alone going into a Whirpool, something I'm also not very fond of.

Then just do the tower for now(if you haven't already). He's waaaaaaaay too far away to notice you nor can you see him and be scared shitless either. You can do the whirlpool after.

Oh and bring along a lot of food that you can feed to cats.

Did you miss the part where I said, "When I get to the Ocean"?

This implies I'm scared shitless of the ocean in general, the Water Dragon and Whirpool are just an added bonus. I'm going to try to go through but it's gonna be tough for me.

There's nothing in the ocean but the Dragon. You need to go to the tower first for the catwalk ability anyway. NOTHING bad is close to the tower's island and there's nothing to be afraid of(it's a quick swim to it too IIRC).

Oh wait, maybe you will be scared, I think once you make the whirlpool appear during some short quest after the tower, it appears near the area where the Dragon's swimming. =P

Yeah, I finished it already... I also surprisingly got away from it, but the fucker almost ate me before I got to the shore.

lol windwaker has the most water i've seen in a game
when i think underwater levels i always remember sonic i think the game gear version had the worst levels
and they had that horrible music when he had a 5 second countdown
drowning is just plain depressing in video games

if your not a good swimmer that normally makes ocean levels a lot worse i'd guess
for me as long as i don't have to dive underwater to a passage i don't know is even there (and i have an oxygen meter) i really hate it

Also I just noticed I called Ammy a "she". That goes against what I stand for in Okami. FUCK! Not even the "she's a Goddess" makes me believe otherwise!
