Pretty good film. Decent action. Sammo Hung. Needlessly tragic ending though.

He literally does retard the guy as well. Not as much action as I expected. I wanted more Samm Hung action scenes. He has a brief one somewhere near the start, and the final one, and that's it.

well donnie tries to move with the times

so he tries to use a lot of mixed martial arts in his films

fights end up being more realistic and faster paced but also a lot shorter

honestly though the guy is unmatched in terms of fighting ability on screen

Oh of course the fights were great. Just not that many of them.

Ong Bak 2 is on my to do list. I'm going to watch The Shinjuku Incident first, then Ong Bak 2.
