If the Japanese hated a Final Fantasy game, then that's really bad considering how much they're usually blinded by Franchise names.

I think 11 did decently enough. It sold like crap over here, but I think it did well in Japan.

aren't the DQ games generally considered good

i only poayed 8 but its definitely one of the best RPGs i ever played

Who said anything about them not being good? Of course the series is good. The point made is how much Japan still loves it that they have a freaking "shrine" of the latest game out of it in the back of that picture yet it's only a remake of the 6th game for DS.

Oh that's the Famitsu list? The one that changed amazingly in the last 3 years? It used to be made of nothing but FF, Dragon Quest and one Legend of Zelda game.
