| And are there any known problems with Gamestop's used PS3s? |

| No. Make sure it's a 20 or 60 GB model; for backwards compatibility. |

| 80gb models don't have backwards compatibility? |

| yes but not full compatability

| I was wondering why a refurbished 80gb was cheaper compared to the 60gb. |

| Besides backward compatibility (I'm never getting rid on my PS2 anyway) is the 80gb lacking in anything else? |

| There really is no reason to not get the 60 over the 80.
HDD space is irrelevant, you can upgrade it on ANY model, the 60gb has a few memory card slots that the 80 doesn't. Get the 60. | |

| Ah, fuck backward compatibility. I have a PS2.
Plus it's cheaper to go with a 80gb. There's no way I'm breaking 300 dollars for a console. |

| 80GB if you're keeping your PS2, which you are. | |

| So, now I'm hearing some kind of bullshit about disk read errors (Blue Ray errors?) and over heating with used PS3s. Anyone know anything about that? My friend went on like, a 3 hour rant about it and got me wondering..
I'm being cautious here because that's a lot of money for a thing that doesn't come with warranty. Or do Gamestop's refurbished PS3s come with warranty? |
