yeah its amazing how much attn boobies get seriously though these guys could goto a strip club for the same price of this game
possibly more then one visit i never been to one so i dunno how its priced Yeah about the same. But the difference is you get to see real breast, and they fit in the palm of your hand.....They should go to a strip joint if all they want to see are breast. I mean non-digital boobs are so much better. But I guess this game is a point and click horror survival game which is another reason as to why it's getting a bit of attention.

| It's not survival horror is it? I thought it was like a thriller or something. | |

| Only played one of the scenes so far (there's two), and it doesn't seem like enough to judge the game on, at least in terms story mechanics and how your actions change the flow of things. I played through the scene twice to try out different things though.
The control scheme is a bit more complicated than it needs to be. Holding R2 makes you walk forward until you either change direction with the left stick or something gets in your way. Everything else is QTE style prompts. For hand movements you get a right stick prompt, so you might have to move the stick down, or in a quarter circle, or whatever. Sometimes you have to waggle to controller up and down to do something, and other times it's basic face button commands. There's a fight in the scene I played, which is lengthy session of all of the above.
Sometimes you have to hold buttons in the order they flash up to do something. Like in the tutorial, to squeeze past a dumpster in an alley, you have to press and hold circle, then triangle, then L1 (so that at the end you're holding all three buttons down), which just seems completely unnecessary.
Looks nice though. The characters models are great. It's the story that'll make or break it though, and I can't tell if I'm that interested yet. I hope there's more to it than just walking and talking as well. Adventure games usually come with items to find and puzzles to solve, that type of thing. The other scene in the demo is called Crime Scene, which should be more like that.

| second scene is way more fun
i find this to be just a series of quick time events though
the other problem is that the character seems to piece together clues without you eliminating any real puzzle element it feels like someone who just clicked round obsessively will end up doing best in this game
stinky old guy in the first scene isn't all that fun to play, i didn't really give a shit about the character either the guy in the second scene isn't really better but at least he's not a stinky old guy, but at least you get to investigate more

| Yeah, I hope the full game does have a more typical adventure game feel. I want to have to work stuff out and find clues and crap. If the only thing the player has to do is make story choices I can't see it being very enjoyable. | |

| Yeah, my demo stalled on the the loading screen the first time I tried to play Crime Scene. Got through it eventually though. I still don't like that all I seem to be doing is pushing buttons while the characters work everything out themselves. Maybe the final game will be different, but the demo isn't really selling it to me. | |

| I hate how I have to use QTE's in order to open a fucking car door.
Oh and using a shoulder button to walk is piss annoying too.

| Yeah. I don't know why they did that. Just having the left stick for walking and holding R2 to move your head would be much simpler and more intuitive, but for some reason they did it the other way around. | |

| You know it takes a special kind of game for /v/ to come together and collectively hate.
This is that game. From what I've heard from most people who've played the game is a movie with bad controls, pretty graphics, bad writing and lulzy voice-acting.
I'll probably rent it to be safe, I kind of expected this to suck after seeing Indigo Prophecy and I'm really disappointed that another extremely hyped game turns out to be getting bad reception.
Especially since I haven't had a detective investigation story that blew my mind since... well, ever.
