being new to the series though you wouldn't have thought this was unusual

Wrong, we can welcome change if it's good, the majority of past games were way different to each one before it. FFXII's changes were just shit.

X-2 was made as a sexual tension game i swear it was >_< i didnt like it at all ....sept the special spheres were kinda cool

XII was pretty cool in my opinion i especially loved houw the espers could be on any of your guys not just a summoner X333333

i don't want to play dress ups which was what you basically did in FF X-2, if i wanted to do that i'd buy a barbie doll

and i like playing as characters who look like there capable of what they're doing
i want to be one man beating up a legion, and i heard women can only do that with chainballs

otherside of things women maybe able to do that, but if there that tough chances are they look like a dude anyway

so not really sexist, i just hate the whole girls with no armour running into battle its retarded, especially when she's stronger then a guy twice her size age, with considerably more battle experience and has death branded on to his forehead (he had it branded cause he's just that fucking hardcore)

Final Fantasy on PSP, FFVII, VIII, IX on PlayStation, X and X - 2 on PS2, and I hate to think what my combined playtime would be. Plus a lot of hours lost to Dissidia and Tactics.

on the plus side of things those are just games that take long on one playthrough

its considerably more shocking when you clock up over 100 hours on a game that doesn't take long to complete at all

i'm glad i play in fast forwardotherwise battles alone would eat up significant time (i don't even use tactics unless its a gym)

i took the time to evo a ton of pokemon even lame ass ones like karp just cause the second evo is pretty awesome

thanks for the reminder simi-- ive also played and beaten the HELL out of both the portable FFtactics, but ive yet to seriously start playing the PSX one.

and i quite enjoyed FF12, even if the managing everyone's command order/priority was a bitch, i enjoyed te fact that the MC didnt get it on with the princess and that you went from a simple theif to a sky pirate (his actual objective in the first place)

and the fact that once you find setup for the melee characters with near-permanent haste, protect, shell, regen, and BERSERK to become nigh-invincible walking blenders.

you sit in the back making sure everyone's healed and watch the story unfold. which the story itself wasnt half bad either IMO.


ph right, i also played a few hours into FF12 revenant wings but lost interest soon after--i dont do RTS's.
