Online play SF4

CAn anyone tell me anything annoying that ppl do online
i wanna see if i'll actually bother playing randoms

the experience of playing MK vs dc online was horrific

Hadoukens, TYGURE TYGURE, Time matches and turtling, some people can chain into their ultras while some can't. (It's gonna fuck your shit up.)

This is all you'll be hearing online and for someone like me who mains characters like Sakura and Dan, it gets very annoying.

Hopefully everyone gets fixed in SSF4 so's everything is less spammy.

plus you can use invicible frames to get through
though i need to work on my timing for that

will sf4 and ssf4 be online compatible?

You can have good matches, not everyone is a spammer, but the real killer is the lag. You can spend hours learning the intricate timing of these insanely tough combos in training mode, and online they're... utterly useless. Even when the lag is virtually non existent, even the tiniest delay is enough to bodge up your combos, hence why people tend to stick with what's easy and what works. This is sadly the same for every fighting game I've ever played online.

That said, I did have some really good fights against Chou, so if you can get one of us to fight with you, you're more likely to have fun.
