Anyone heard of it? it's a pretty funny anime/manga, plot fueled by a big misunderstanding that happened in the first episode and has not been resolved, yet. What's the misunderstanding? The girl thinks the boy is in love with her
Plot: Well, let's see. Hayate Ayasaki is a hard-working 16 year old boy with untrusting, bum-ass parents. His parents sell him off to the yakuza as well as giving him their debt of 150 million yen and run off. Hayate escapes, and in a park sees a rich-looking girl, Nagi Sanzenin, 13, and plans to kidnap her for ransom despite his good nature. Nagi however mistakens his words as a confession of love. Hayate messes up on the ransom demands by giving his real name and quits but then Nagi is kidnapped by real crooks. He saves her life and she decides to give him a job as her new butler. After Nagi and her maid, Mary, find out about Hayate's debt, she pays it for him and he basically now works as a butler to pay off his debt. His life as the Sanzenin family butler begins...
Did I mention Nagi is really, really rich, like richer than Bill Gates rich.
Anime is done after two seasons, season 1 (52 eps) focused more on comedy/action. Season 2 stayed more true the manga and the Rom/Com but only 25 eps. Season 1 opening 1: basically shows how it started.
Season 2 opening 2: my fave err dont mind the ecchi stuff, pretty much non-existent in the anime, just for fun here.
I miss it, but manga still ongoing and has hit a turning point.

Dragon Ball was pretty funny. From the start up to the end of the Red Ribbon arc anyway.

I was going to read this in the library today. I picked it up and people gave me wierd looks.

ppl will always give weird looks when you pick up a grapic novel / manga. Should've hid it under a Spider-man or Superman comic or something.
