Why didn't you let Mareep evolve?

The same reason I haven't let Cyndaquil evolve, the base forms learn moves fast than the evolved forms.

but some pokemon only learn certain moves in a certain form (such as ampharos learning thunderpunch naturally) and only at a certain level. i thought if you eveolved them into the form if they've already passed teh level the would've learned the move at, they cant learn it ever...

Stop confusing me.

simplified:

dont evolve = learns moves early but may miss some awesome moves if you wait too long

do evolve = learns moves slower, but gain access to some better moves.

The following questions must be answer by my adoring public!

Do you want me to completely edit out trainer battles?
Should I just focus on significant events (cut out walking between towns unless something interesting happens)?
Should I stop using Pokemon Stadium for gym battles?
More music-battles?

I'm also going to start using songs that aren't by Queen soon. I wish I could use Beatles songs, but that's for Fire Red later on.

k, lets start:

-the normal trainer battles should be kept the way they are. they allow for witty retorts to their stupid "me? lose? BUT THATS IMPOSSIBLE" lines.
-i say keep the walking, but it could stand to be sped up to reduce travel time.
-well, seeing as *someone* has to cheat to beat gym leaders in stadium, the regular battles could be more entertaining, depending on whats happening.
-music battles? like the one against the sprout tower head? i like those. i say keep them.
