Ah, that's a shame. A guy showed up who can use the Steel Balls too. And a guy who can deflect attacks as long as he can remain completely still who's named after a song by a band who loves JJBA.
This song to be exact, the music video is filled with JoJo references.

dropped this about when those emtel-controlling siblings impersonated the handicapped one and got that one cowboy to think he was the murderer.

I'm having trouble remembering where specifically I left off, but I know that Kira has gotten his (first?) new face.

Reread Part 1 out of boredom, and found it a lot more entertaining than the first time, especially all the wonderful one-liners.
"Beat, my heart!" "I will have your body, and live gorgeously forever!" "Speedwagon retires coolly", and my favourite, "You weren't expecting me! The interfering Speedwagon!"
Am also reading part 5 again, but this time in fabulous French, because what the hell. I must say, the translator has done a great job with this, even with the already creative wording. Only worry is that I've now come to a certain fight, and, as Buccellati says,
Spoiler:
"le pouvoir du boss est invincible"
Now I remember why I didn't like Diavolo.
Up to volume 10, with 11 bought. When finished I'll have spent £86,95 exactly, since all the shipping is free. Glorious France, what would I have done without you?
Thinking of buying part 4, too, since I might actually understand it this time around. Still, I'd like to have had part 3 in English, providing the translation is good.

The English translation of Part 3 is fine, I've bought the first four books and am planning to buy the rest before the next school year. Also, I thought about buying Part 5 in French since I think it would help me in learning French but I'm still debating whether or not I should because Part 5 isn't that great.

I quite like it. It's funny, the fights are good, and it has some cool stands. There's a reason it's apparently so popular in Japan.
You should also NOT start with part 5 if you're planning to learn French. Learn for some years, then buy them.

I'm currently in French 1 and will be taking French 2 next year too. I should've elaborated though.

...It's sad how this comment still holds true to this day. -_- But atleast I'll never forget where I am should I feel the sudden urge to continue.

Take it slowly, get a bescherelle, and make sure you know when to use "en", "y", and can understand basic slang. Gets you a long way.

You should take it slowly, then. I've just had three years in Junior high and 3 in senior high, but I speak French regularly, so it's not a problem to remember. You could always just download some french scanlations of something and try to read.

Take it slow Baal, that's a good goal to set yourself, but you should build up to it first by reading books meant for children or something. The last thing you want is to try something way above your level and get put off.

Read Le Petit Prince. Everybody reads that, and for good reasons.
