Everything in this film is happening too damn fast.

Well, that was kind of... really shit. The story seemed incredibly rushed and bungled, and a lot of scenes seemed really cut down, especially the whole bit with Piccolo's blood demon things and their fight. Felt like a bunch of scenes were missing completely too. I found myself wondering what the hell was going on a few times, which came as a pretty big surprise.

Mafuba was good though, and Shenlong, although I'd have liked him to talk. Few bits of total cheese too, which was nice.

Where'd you find it Nonny? I'd like a butchers too.

I downloaded it from Rapidshare, but it's in multiple parts and RS sucks for that unless you have an account. I'll see where else it's at.

Sound quality isn't great though. It's decent, but certainly not DVD quality.

Just saw it. Very meh. I was actually quite disappointed with how it progressed, as the build up seemed all right, but it was so short, and the pacing was totally screwed up.

Examples? Well, Goku went from being easily held at bay by Roshi to being able to effortlessly beat Piccolo inside half an hour, yet seemed to undergo virtually no training in the meantime. Speaking of Piccolo, he was hardly scary was he? Yeah, he looked pretty faithful, but barring one scene with Grandpa Gohan, he simply wasn't frightening, and the ease at which Goku went through him was bordering on ridiculous, especially given as they didn't do much fighting. they just threw ki attacks at each other.

Yamcha was barely used, and his romantic sub plot with Bulma was as brief as one scene before it was forgotten. Speaking of romance, where the hell did Goku and Chi Chi come from? One moment they're strangers, then within a few scenes during which they hardly speak, they're all over each other.

It felt like half the film was cut, meaning that what was left simply took the quickest possible route from start to end, despite it making little sense. It wasn't a patch on the likes of Kung Fu Hustle.
