Personally, I didn't find those Soul Eater vids all that "scary" so much as "awesome". The scariest part was that hearing Death the Kid sing so well almost made me gay for him.
It also made me realize something... ever notice how Japanese voice actors usually have good singing voices? You never really hear English voice actors sing...
