93% and 10/10 for the multiplayer. I've heard of another review where RE5 scored 5/5. It's definitely going to be the GOTY.

I heard that its trailer had terrible graphics. What a shame.

Its trailer was 10 seconds long and was nothing more than a teaser. And those 10 seconds were godly as usual.

RE4 got rave reviews too, and I still didn't like that much.

Then it's your fault. RE4 is widely considered to be one of the best games of last generation.

God of War won more prices than RE4 in 2005. Looks like history is going to repeat itself.

I know. However, I didn't enjoy it. It felt cold and sterile, a little soulless. It wasn't a patch on Code Veronica.

RE4 got higher scores.

GoW won more videogame oscars (forget what they were called).

GoW is shit, like really shit.

I haven't picked up 2 as number one was so damn easy and boring and the puzzle element was none existent. Though people made out it had puzzles.

Yes, but only the odd 0.2 here or there. I preferred GOW to RE4. That said, GOW2 wasn't as good as GOW.

A game doesn't neccesarily need to be challenging to be fun. GoW's fun lies in the brutally murdering of your enemies and all the mythology you see on the way.

And if you didn't find it challenging you could've started playing on Hard mode or God mode.

No, but you said it was really shit, which is clearly not the case.

But the combos all look the same, kratos's twirling blades seem to lack impact. It started off the random minigame crap i see in so many games and seriously it weren't that fun doing those.

Also even when he picked up other weapons they were pointless so you just went back to the twirly things.

I disagree with the level design. The Steeds of Time truly looked breathtaking and I liked the overall look of the island too.

I agree that the game had some unneccesary moments and I'm talking about the cave where you crash with your flying horse and the swamp that really looks boring. And the boss battles there were unnecceary.

But the battles against Perseus, Theseus, Kraken, the multiple battles against the Sisters of Fate... I like 'em all. And the finishers were mindblowingly awesome.

I hated God Mode so much but I completed it. i stopped playing GoW II's Titan Mode after I got to the escort missions.

Anyone who puts escort missions in an action game should die a horrible death.
