Most difficult boss fight

Well, It'd be soooo much more impossible if it wasn't an arcade game. Thus, Put in more coins to get more lives. If it were like it was back in the day. If it got onto a console, There wouldn't be any of that mess. You'd get a set number of lives and that's it.

yeah thats basically the reason i put in dynamite headdy

that game was brutal in terms of the number of lives you had
every time you first got to a boss you were guaranteed to waste all your lives

As with most other side scrolling shooters. (I.E. Contra)

well thing is with games where you die in one hit
the game has set patterns so you can avoid getting hit
and with thosse games i normally spot the pattern quickly and so don't get hit
but these other ones i.e. god hand I find way harder

I can never get passed the stage with the cannons and the people with like, two or three of them having demons in them. I'm supposed to get two keys or something like that.

Easy, But I'm so full of fail that I make it look hard. XD Me and my constant tandency to attack and never block.

apparently forward dodging gets you past most moves on easy anyway

No way. Wit hthe right gambits you could literally just set the controller down and if you spammed aura you could just limit break omega into nothingness.

those gambits were worthless during boss battles and rarely could keep up so i just stuck to manual but it was frikken long.
and omega well .... ultima ultima ... ect ect with out invincible it would rape....

Honsetly the hardest boss fight I can think of off the top of my head is Emerald Weapon sans Underwater Materia in FFVII. But then again I was very young when I did it without that materia so I coulda just been making much harder than it needed to be.

I gotta agree, Emerald had a solid system.

Taking KotR out of the equation completely, beating Emerald under 20 minutes without farming the crazy material like KotR, Final Attack, Mimic and so forth was harder for me. But I guess in RPG's it really is "hard" to have a crazy hard boss fight because with general grinding you can over come anything.

Thanks why FFIX is so badass. Ozma could be beaten at lvl 1 and give just as much fight to a level 99 group with max abilities. It came down to technique, skill and maybe a little too much luck...

I have no idea why hard was in quotes there.
