Oda writes everything pretty detailed, unlike some other mangakas (Kishimoto and Kubo).

Also some scenes are ruined in the anime or aren't giving any attention at all, like Sanji deflecting Odz's Gomu Gomu no Bazooka. An amazing feat, but just shrugged off in a few seconds of screentime.

thats one thing i really like about western comics

Probably any manga that isn't in SJ is coloured.

It doesn't need to be. You don't need color to get the damn point across. And as Kai just said, they remove some stuff from the manga.

Just because it has color doesn't mean shit other than it looks pretty.

No. Non-colored manga is a common thing in Japan. THey know they don't need color to get their point across and make it look pretty. They do colored once in a while for major scenes.

Also OP is an actual example of a good anime, since Toei pretty much invented anime. They've been the biggest in Japan since the start.

If OP was in the hands of Pierrot you probably wouldn't be raving about it.

I don't care for Toei. Especially after seeing how much they raped DBZ through the anime.

I prefer Sunrise.

DBZ was a pretty good anime for its time, especially since Toei had to base it on 12-14 pages a week.

And a lot of things were actually done better in the anime, like transformations, deaths and a lot of fight scenes. AT rushed through the story, especially during the Saiyan and Namek arcs and it shows.

Tite Kubo

His character designs are great and so is his choice in clothing for the characters on the chapter covers and stuff.

Bleach started off good but now it's become shit because of Kubo's god awful pacing.

A lot of Bleach manga readers say that the anime has a chance to be cancelled because it rushes through its material so quick and will end up catching up with the manga, with no way to do fillers.

Or they could just do an ending saying.

i think thats why i liked bleach it was straight to the point
it is also most likely what made me get completely wound up when they did filler
but when one series is on filler i just watch another
