| oh right i refused to wath 4 after the abysmal 3 one was amazing 2 was nothing special
seriously the likelihood of living up to the epicness of the first movie is unlikely

seriously the likelihood of living up to the epicness of the first movie is unlikely I won't spoil too much, but it does explain Jigsaw's origins.

| Only seen the first two, and the second wasn't that good. At least after Saw 6 there shouldn't be any more. | |

they killed one of the most innovative horror films in a while Well it seems like it was planned to a 6 part series from the start, providing the films kpt making enough money to justify a sequel.

| I liked Saw and Saw 2, but 3 was awful, it was simply nasty for the sake of being nasty. For that reason, I didn't see IV, and won't see V either. | |

that was exactly what i thought i didn't actually find 3 as gruesome as 2 though number one and two made me cringe a lot more though people collapsed watching 3 my theory was the franchise was big enough to attract non horror fiilm goers and they couldn't handle it

| I thought that Saw and Saw 2, whilst violent, at least had some justification for being that way. 3 just seemed like it was struggling to find reasons to be nasty, and it left a nasty taste in the mouth. | |

But since 2008 was the first I played, I didn't mind.

| Even as early as 2 it just seemed like the main focus of the film was shifting to watching people die in various ways. And the orchestration of the plot just got way too big. The first Saw felt pretty simple, and it was better for it. | |

| Saw I was the only good one. 2 was mediocre and 3 was shit. Haven't seen IV or V. |
