No. His Metal is mediocre. The only song I can remember actually downloading is Dragula from the Matrix.

Marilyn Manson is real metal. And Rammstein is a fucking awesome Metal band. But Rob Zombie makes some really fucking mediocre metal.

Disturbed and Metalica are the best metal bands. Rob Zombie is a good either way

2. Metallica is metal, but Glam/Thrash Metal, which is one of the worst metal sub-genres we have, IMO.
3. Disturbed is also Nu Metal.

There's really no "real" metal, they all belong to sub groups.
For plain Death Metal, try Cannibal Corpse or Death.

For Melodic Death Metal, try In Flames, Children of Bodom, and Hypocrisy.

For Speed/Fantasy Metal, try Dragonforce.


I don't know much other metal bands/genres, unfortunately.
