i mean i saw a couple of episodes and it managed to hold my attention
but was it any good

In the last duel that Zrok/Yami Bakura did against Yugi he called him a scared whimpy twerp or something in his usual demonic voice. He nearly had him if Yugi's last card wasnt that dragon

I'd tell you guys but it's been about a year since I saw the JP Version of the Anime.

The Manga still has Shadow Games, but they mention death.
I could list all the storyline differences from the Anime that never happened in the Manga if you want.

But it kills them not makes them wander around in the shadow realm

You do also realize how popular Yu-Gi-Oh was and how many kids would buy the books right? They gave the 4Kids names in GX. It was never the Shadow Games. They used Black Magic to summon creatures.
