Netflix's new fantasy/sci-fi/mystery/drama/thriller.

How it was described to me by my dumb friend:

"Stranger Things for adults"

What it actually was:

Watching Goten and Trunks learn how to do the fusion dance for eight hours.

Also the ending is by far the most ridiculous thing I have seen. It's so utterly tone-deaf.

I started watching Netflix's Van Helsing, for no particular reason. The first 3 episodes are annoying out of order flashbacks, but it's an okay premise. A supervolcano erupts and the ash cloud blocks out the sun for years, which allows vampires to come out and wreck everything. There's a mystery woman with amnesia who can turn the vampires back into humans, and a bunch of other nobodies who I suspect won't last very long. I think it's trying to be Walking Dead style drama, but it introduced way too many characters at once.
