Baal Backlog: New Poll

If you'd like, I can always join you for co-op on Demon's Souls. I currently have a luck-based build that I'm working on that isn't overpowered in combat (It's mostly for getting item drops).

Demon's Souls it is. I didn't think I'd be spending my week off of working getting into masochism, but here we are.

I missed your update somehow, glad to know I'm not missing out on Revelations. Demon's Souls is a good choice.

You could only play AC1 and 2 and not miss out on anything.

Just beat the Old Hero. With a stage as fucking wacky as that, I'm really happy they gave me a boss I could chill out against so I didn't have to worry about losing my 100k souls.

On the final tiers of the stages now, hopefully this won't be too difficult, but I don't see this game getting any easier as I go along.

The last tier of bosses are mostly easy as hell except World 1. That one has a bit of a learning curve.

Finished it. That last part of Boletaria was obnoxious as fuck, but the King Allant fight was kind of fun. Before anyone asks, I did say I was like halfway through the game when I had last played it, so yeah.

Anyways I'll do my write up in a second.

Play AC3 so you can see how shit it is.

You can get through the first episode of TWAU in a couple of hours, do that first then you can move on to something meatier.

L.A. Noire came out in 2011, TTB, I don't think that constitutes a 'test of time'.

The phrase implies things have changed drastically since the point in time you're talking about, things haven't. For a start you're talking about the same console generation, you're also talking about the relative late period of that generation. Realistically, I don't think you could get away with saying anything post 2006 could "stand the test of time".

Would you like to provide a better solution? The Wolf Among Us is an episodic adventure game. I might not even do a write up of it after I'm done because only Episode 1 is out and I wouldn't have much to beyond "Yeah it's cool." So having a game that actually has a lot to it lined up immediately would not only give me something to write, but to also knock two things off my back log in one fell swoop. Like if you can make up something more reasonable I'm all ears, dude.

yeah, knock it off your list & wait for the rest of the game to come up, you will only have to redo ep 1 when it is available

I flipped the coin, LA Noire it is after I finish TWAU.

Finished TWAU Episode 1, I don't know if I'll do a write up, but I'll think about it as I play LA Noire.
