Community season 4 premieres on October 19th

I just really really really hope they drop the Darkest Timeline stuff forever, since it's annoying and it's also probably the biggest misstep of the show. They missed a great opportunity to keep the concept of evil doppelgangers but keep it "grounded" in reality by having the return of the fake study group from the The Community College Chronicles in Season 1.

They could have had the entirety of Season 3 build up the idea that evil doppelgangers succeeded in crossing over to the Prime Timeline (tie it in with the Doppeldeaner from Chang's storyline), only to reveal that it was those guys all along trying to destroy the study group because they were embarrassed to be involved in a shitty film project/Abed didn't pay them/they were forgotten/they went crazy/etc.

Would have been better than keeping the Darkest Timeline stuff open for two seasons so they could run it into the ground rather than snuffing it out after one.

That's good. Something about this season just seemed to be missing.

Donald Glover will only be in 5 out of 13 episodes to focus on his terrible rap group that people only care about because he's the guy from Community.

Troy was holding Abed back anyway.

I didn't mind Chevy leaving at all, but Troy not being there will probably have a huge impact. Plus it means the episodes he's in will almost certainly be focused on him, so he can't have fun little B stories anymore or just hang in the background cracking one liners.

Troy was at his best when he was doing that. Very disappointing.
