Finding a place for topics is confusing?

i keep thinking that everytime i'm in the social section
i end up putting topics in the spectral realm cause it sounds cool

its mainly cause i don't know if you guys would be interested in said topic so i then plonk it in the spectral realm
if it was something i think people would respond to general discussion makes sense

rants are the other confusing one
generally anything that goes in that section is destined to be a dead topic as people expect it to be one sided
or at least thats the impression i get

it also would make sense to put this in board discussion
but no one ever looks there

also i think i'd have to fiddle with stuff as the spectral realm is the only visible forum to guests
