I think I read a book of the same name when I was about 8.

Rented this film a few days ago. This is probably the first Dreamworks animated film I've really enjoyed since The Road to El Dorado. The film score is phenomenal.

What kind of monster didn't like Shrek!?

I never said I didn't like Shrek, but I liked DW's previous films(and now HtTYD too) better.

I thought shrek 1 was alright, but it almost thinks its funnier then it is which kinda annoyed me.

Shrek 1 and 2 were amazing.

Road to El Dorado is penis aside from the pretty pictures.

Watched this last night, thought it was great. Toothless reminded me of Disney's Stitch in many ways, and while the story was reasonably predictable, it was very well done.

Yeah. It's definitely one of the better "outcast/loser befriends a fantastical being in secret until everyone finds out about their relationship later on in the story and tries to catch/kill the creature, leading up to a final battle where the outcast and said fantastical being must work together to prevent a bigger issue/threat, causing the supporting cast to accept their friendship" films.

I can't see that genre title sticking.

Just watched it. This is the best Dreamworks animated movied after Shrek 1 and 2.

Aside from the sequel, it apparently is also going to get a tv show soon.
