The Machinist

Watched this a few days ago and never got round to saying anything about it so I'll do it now.

It's a fairly standard guy-loses-his-mind-mystery type film in the mode of Fight Club. Although it's more abou guessing which parts are real and which parts are made up, since t's obvious from the start that the guy is mental. It also features a really thin Christian Bale.

Pretty good film.

Is this the one with JASON STATHAM?

This movie was very good. Not a fan of a lot of things Christian Bale does but he was really good in this movie.

Name one good movie he's in other than this one. The Fighter doesn't count because luckily for him, Mark Wahlburg has enough talent in one finger that he can give others in his movies some of it so they don't suck as bad.

And didn't the dude get in trouble for beating his mom and sister? I swear I heard that somewhere. If that's true that's unbelievably fucked up.


He was also the worst batman. ever.

The Fighter was great, exactly because of Bale. Motherfucker won an Oscar for it.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. He was a great Batman. lol at him being the worst. Clooney and Kilmer were terrible and Keaton was about as good as Bale.

The Prestige.

Mark Whalberg is the poor man's Matt Damon.

Ok, i'll give you American Psycho. I forgot about that one. As long as we can both agree that the only reason he won that oscar was because Mark Wahlberg was so awesome.


And Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, and Leo DiCap are all equally as awesome. It's too bad they couldn't all 4 be in a movie at the same time. I mean, I get why they aren't. You don't want peoples faces melting off from the awesome but still. That's how I'd like to go out I guess.

I see why you would say that. Us mortals can't compare to his genius. I had to train myself to appreciate his talent.

Ben Affleck is bad even when he's good, like in The Town. Jeremy Renner made him look like a complete pile of ass in juxtaposition.
