Then again, it'd probably be more safer to build off of the same engine their other two games used so it'll turn out more polished(instead of building an entire game from the ground up in such a short amount of time).

XBOX360 & PC games can be pirated easy
But I won't be getting any new Spider-Man games from Activision, or from Sega if the franchise moves to them later.

SD combat was rehashed for the recent fine game (better than SD imo), but with the annual release plan they have I expect more combat rehashes, more rehashed BG's, etc

Did you forget about Spidey 2, Ultimate, Spidey 3, and WoS? All of those were rushed products, two of which were also movie liscense games slated to come out quickly during their respective film's release, and they all managed to be sandbox games.

The real problem is the fact there'll hardly be any interesting content to fit in the game if they go with that direction. It'd probably be just another city-roaming game with random crimes here and there along with the story and nothing much else.

I mean, out of all the sandbox games thus far, Spidey 3(the ps3/360/pc version) was the only one to have some(and by some, I mean barely any) diversity. That didn't excuse the gameplay's clunkiness and other issues of course, but still...

Spidey 2 has a bit more diversity in street missions, same goes for the PS2 version of SM3

Doubtful. Despite the lengthy amount of time between each film's release, that doesn't mean they were given the go-ahead to start producing the games early. They possibly had slightly over a full year at the least.

Games like Wolverine Origins are the exception, but that game was never meant to be a movie tie-in to begin with. It was originally going to be a stand alone game, hence the longer development.

Treyarch polished their town and edited it for that game.
Beenox worked from scratch for SD, and recycled some of its own made stuff on EoT, devs don't seem to recycle what other devs did

Ultimate Spider-Man's city was mostly a revamp, it wasn't just taking the old Spidey 2 one and changing its style, there was certainly more work put in than that. Not to mention the addition of Queens as well.

Also, I know Beenox has been using the same engine for their two games. Heck, I predicted they'd go with that direction before EoT even came out. Not to mention I stated it in the first post that, to be safe and to have a more polished game, they'll probably do that again and wind up building off their already existing engine and mechanics for the ASM game.

With all their faults (mostly SM3), movie Spidey games turned to be the best of the bunch (if only movie 1 game wasn't slow, I'd include it here)

If you find the first Spider-man movie game fun then you have no idea what makes a fun game or you are a kid and the third one is a mess, no matter what console it's on. The fact that it's open world means I might give it a chance. The only reason to actually buy Spider-Man games is to swing around a big open city.

Underrated, flawed, received the biggest amount of BS complaints. I finished the game many times, share some complaints, saw some complaints that are there in some copies non-existing in others, but those good complaints are only 15% of the general complaints, the rest are bullshit

12 levels you do the exacts same fucking thing; "Chase after boss and beat cronies, fight boss and let him escape, do the same process again. I can enjoy good Spider-Man games not open world, but swinging has always been the biggest appeal about them to me

Your opinion would be more respect if you literally didn't just denounce the opinions of several reviewers and fans alike in such a way as "Their opinions are shit, mine is the only good one". You are not respect because you're a fucking idiot and don't have anything remotely close to an actual opinion for hating something other than "Oh my god, it follows a formula, allow me to hate on it while other games do that exact same thing and I praise them for it."
