The new mechanics look cool with the sleep walking and stuff. Too bad it's on the fucking 3DS. Also, the title seems so half assed like days was. Dream Drop Distance? Seriously? Why not just call it Dem Drunk Drivers.

Me and Sora have a theory going that now it's going to involve diving into some dreams.

Meaning now instead of Square watching a lot of Star Wars before making up their recent ideas, they have been watching Inception before making new ideas.

What the hell does "Dream Drop Distance" even mean? It's like they couldn't think of a clever name to fit the whole 3D reference with three words starting with the letter D so they pulled some nonsensical gibberish out of their ass.

Not that Birth By Sleep sounded any better.

Sora and Riku's designs were much better in KH2. How am I going to take them doing this super hard exam seriously when they look like 5 year olds. At least in KH2 they looked age appropriate.

Here's a better question. What is the purpose of having them as their young selves again anyway? And I'm not asking HOW, considering as the title suggests, they may be dreaming or something. But why bother exactly?

What is this constant hold they have with their old looks in almost every other game. It's like they can't let go of the past.

I'd say it's because the KH2 designs weren't goofy enough, but Nomura's entire shtick consists of designing characters as hardcore badass as possible, so that couldn't be it.

Also I've been reading some topics on the 3DS board now that the trailer has come out, it's hilarious how some people are defending these spin-offs so bad.

Anyone who can't see that they're blatantly there to milk the franchise for all it's worth is a fool.

Well at least this one will consist of only new worlds. Wonder where they'll do the tournaments without Olympus Colliseum.

I hope they'll also try to implement worlds based on Disney Afternoon shows.

I doubt that will happen. That would mean for once in a long time, KH would actually be interesting. Nomura can't have that.

Sora's outfit was definitely better in KH2 but Riku's was better in KH1. Riku looked like white trash in KH2 with his low hanging pants and stuff.

How involved is Nomura with this game (and with BBS) anyway? He's not the director, so does he still decide what worlds are in and stuff like that?

Destiny Islands have Bieber fever.

According to Wiki, he's pretty involved into it. He's the main designer and he confirmed that the main theme of the game is trust, so for him to do it, he has to have some kind of foothold in the game.

EDIT: Also, this was unquestionably Riku's best look for me.
