| So I bought the RDR dlc.
Spent about 90 minutes on it so far. The story is your basic zombie story, nothing special so far. John's family become zombies so he ties them up and goes out to find a cure and stop the madness.
Ammo, while not exactly scarce, is nowhere near as abundant as it was in the normal game. There are no stores to buy ammo from as of yet, and zombies don't carry weapons. Some zombies have a few rounds on them, but not a lot. And usually, unless I'm in a mission, I just avoid the zombies so I don't waste anything.
At the moment missions just involve saving towns, and the odd encounter with a zombie version of someone from the main game.
Also, got my first Legendary Animal. Managed to break War, one of the Apocalypse horses. Infinite stamina I think, and it sets zombies on fire when you ride past them.

| There;s different kinds of zombies, but so far all that's really mattered is how fast they move, since they all go down with a single headshot. And with Dead Eye, that's not so hard. | |

| Around this month or the next, there's a DLC pack on disc that'll be released containing Undead Nightmare and the other two ones released before it. I'll wait and grab that. | |

| There's a pack on the store that contains all that as well. But I don't touch the online element of this game nearly enough for the online DLC to be worth buying. | |

| Oh, and I just noticed that a headshot actually refills some of your Dead Eye meter. No idea if that happened in the main game as well and I just failed to ever notice it, of if it's new. But it makes clearing out graveyards pretty easy. As long as you can zip into Dead Eye and get a headshot within a second or so, the bonus DE for headshot compensates for the DE used to make the headshot.
And with the sawn-off shotgun you don't even need to aim straight at the head most of the time.

| I noticed. I read a while back some people accidentally downloaded that complete pack instead of just UN(I guess they assumed that the other one was a trial or something). 'Twas hilarious. | |

| One odd thing is that all the animals seem to be undead apart from the goats, which are just normal. I've seen undead coyotes, wolves, and one cow so far. But no undead goats, just alive ones. | |

| Haven't seen any of them yet. Started encountering retchers though. They're a big annoying.
But I have to go to Tall Trees to find flowers for West Dickens, so I'll probably see a few bears soon enough.

| Well, undead cougars are a hell of a lot easier to spot, that's for sure. Being blood red in a desert environment does that. Before they kind of blended in. | |

| Well, I got all the flowers from Tall Trees, but I haven't seen a bear yet. I'm practically pissing myself with anticipation though, because in my opinion the bears were worse than the cougars. Not only would I get ambushed by bears just as often as cougars, but there would nearly always be 2 or 3 of them.
Also got the Six Year In The Making trophy, which was nice little in-joke.

I have to agree. When I was busy trying to 100% the game, cougars barely ever came in to bother me. Bears on the other hand were constantly coming out of nowhere while I was collecting flowers in the Tall Trees for my last few stuff to do.
