Alright, after I get done updating the PSTriple, I plan to input my code for the Cosmic suit and get to playing this.

I WILL COME BACK WITH RESULTS!

The update is to block the Jailbreak isn't it?

Oh and the visuals are gorgeous, ...although I'm seeing a lot of Spidey ass in Ultimate. Hopefully that won't become much of a problem.

Alright just finished the Tutorial.

The gameplay is pretty damn fun and my god are Noir Spidey's takedowns quick and powerful!

So I started on hard mode and Kraven was a pain to fight the second time.

Alright time to get more indepth. To increase your upgrades you earn Spider Essence, how you do this is by collecting spider emblems and completing missions. The missions range from storyline things to just beating up X Amount of thugs or doing certain other things.

There are 180 of them, so yeah. The combat is a bit repetitive until I got a new move which I began integrating into more of my combos and the dodge button functions pretty well although it's realistic about what you can dodge. If Kraven rushes towards you, you cannot dodge backwards and be safe, he will hit you but dodging to the side will keep you safe.

Anyways, it's pretty fun so far and on to the next level.

Seriously, I probably won't be buying this game for a while. I just checked prices and it's 40 just for a pre-order. No way I'm paying that. I think it must be Activision just being greedy. I mean, Web of Shadows is nearly two years old now, and it's still 30 or something new. It's ridiculous.

Although having said that, if I get this job I might go a bit mad since I'll be getting regular income for the first time ever, student loan not included. Still, It's low on my list of games to get for the rest of the year.

Just beat Hammerhead in the Noir level. The Noir levels are basically Arkham Asylum, yeah.

And I really am loving this first-person boxing thing, it's fucking satisfying to sit there and wail on them and dodge their attacks.

Just beat Gobby. It was nice to hear that he was voiced by Steve and the diving parts were the best ones.

Oh... good lord I was dying throughout all of Ultimate's first boss.

All the hilarious back and forth between Pete and Electro not to mention Electro being voiced by Biff from Back to the Future.

Just finished Sandman's level. My god, it felt long and for some reason John didn't voice him despite already reprising Hammerhead.

Ah well.

Alright, I just finished the Second Noir Level.

Fucking Vulture being annoying as all hell. Anyways, my code worked so I'll be heading to sleep now and probably finishing this up tomorrow.

Just finished Scorpion and man it was a really annoying boss although it did take some thinking.

So I guess I can say he was something of a challenge.

Alright, I just finished it so let me summarize the bosses.

Kraven: Annoying because I was still getting used to the controls, but in retrospect the only reason I found him annoying was because I was still getting used to dodging, everything else was fine.

Hammerhead: Easy boss that consisted of a lot of box throwing.

Hobgoblin: Another easy boss, that consisted of mostly me fighting mooks and tossing bombs back at him.

Electro: Jesus christ, another easy fucking boss.

Those were the first bosses of each Dimension, they got a bit trickier in the second one.

Sandman: Easy as hell but he gave me a bit of trouble on he last part due to the fact only one of the heads is actually hittable with water.

Vulture: Fuck, this was annoying. He wasn't difficult, just fucking everywhere. I had no idea what I was doing most of the time but it turned that I had to wail on him and that he actually will be vulnerable half of the time.

Scorpion: Ehhh... upon reflection this was also my own stupidity. He dealt for some powerful shit and let out mooks everywhere but his attacks were easy to dodge and the mooks only gave me trouble because I wasplaying like a blind idiot.

Deadpool: Now here's one that surprisingly knocked me for a loop. Deadpool is not hard, but he is good at taking advantage of you if you mess up. Not only are there three of him on the last part but two of them throw long range crap and teleport around alot. I barely managed to beat the one using Knives.

And after Deadpool they manage to drop the ball for a while.

Juggernaut: Ehhh, bobbing and weaving does the job just fine.

Goblin: Another easy boss. I got a bit scared when he summoned a bunch of mooks but fuck he took them out himself.

Lady Ock: Jesus christ, this was another easy one.

Carnage: THe only one that wasn't entirely easy and this is due to the fact that Carnage only takes so much shit from you before he deals it back tenfold.

And then there's the piss-poor excuse for a last boss.

Mysterio: The only part of this I had real trouble with was Ultimate and that's because I didn't know what in the hell I was doing half of the time in that one.

The game however was quite good at delivering well made levels. The ones that tried to be a bit atmospheric were usually the Noir ones and they worked well, but... Scorpion's and Carnage's levels were also quite atmospheric and it was surprising to see everything in Ultimate change from hilarious banter between Pete and the bad guy into Peter being serious and punching the everloving shit out of Carnage for killing so many people. It is the only part of the game that has the most first-person mano a mano sequences which are always fun. I loved this game, there were glitches, it was easy for the most part and the main story wasn't even that great.

...BUT, the gameplay was fun, the music is good, the voice acting is astounding, the stories for the individual areas (Especially Noir's) were good, it was pretty damn funny and the game wraps up with a satisfying conclusion from Stan Lee himself.

You've beaten it already? Christ, that doesn't bode well. One for rental methinks.

There's never been a long Spidey game, so it doesn't bother me.

I've watched some gameplay on Youtube and it definitely looks fun. Also, it strikes me as the funniest game I have seen in ages! XD

The first two Ultimate levels had me dying of laughter. Deadpool was fucking hysterical, it's nice to see they changed him to give him attributes of his 616 Self instead of his annoying Ultimate self.
