Just seen Scott Pilgrim vs The World

It was awesome. That is all.

I need to go to the cinema more often.

I'm still looking forward to seeing this, since I've got holidays next week I'll most likely go then.

Just finished reading the comic books, planning to watch it this weekend; can anyone tell me if I should keep the comic book in mind or judge the film completely by its own merits?
Is it like for example the case with Kick-Ass movie VS comic=

There's a few bits that don't make it into the film, but it's pretty close. Even though Kick Ass only made two or three changes, they effectively turned the bittersweet ending of the comic into a happy ending, and I'm still not sure which ending I prefer. I thought Scott Pilgrim was a more entertaining film than Kick Ass though, if only for the multiple nerdgasms it gave me.

The trailer for this was terrible.

I thought the book was alright, a couple of individual cool moments. I found the later half kinda dragged and the middle was probably the best bit.

The last fight in the book really didn't feel like much of a last fight to me, unlike the movie.
