I'm surprised yet happy...

Last Christmas, I received the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender on DVD. The other day, my aunt asked to watch the series with me. To my surprise, she's taken a strong liking to it. As soon as we finished the first season, she was so interested in it that she had my mother bring out an early birthday present... the season season. Guess what happened when we plowed through Season 2?

Yep. I now have the entire series on DVD and have more or less spent all weekend doing an Avatar marathon up to the second disc of Season 3. Good times.

Your aunt spoiled one of your birthday presents just because she wanted to watch it? Sounds pretty selfish.

Hey, I'm not complaining. Early presents are something of a family tradition, although we typically restrict it to one. Heck, sometimes we each buy something we want ourselves and just trade gifts after the exchange. XD

The real problem for me is that Mom unwittingly revealed that she got me Red Dead Redemption by hinting at the preorder bonuses. Now I have to wait until July 27 to actually get it.
