Having watched an LP of it on Youtube, you get Level 3 Deadeye soon after you enter Mexico.

I know that's when I get it. I asked how long it was until then, from the mission I just did.

Wolves killed my nice fast horse damn it. Had to catch another one. There always seems to be one in the plain north of Armadillo, so it's pretty easy.

You get that in Mexico. Have you done all the missions for the miracle-cure guy and Seth?

If you have, then it's only a few missions away, if not you've got a fair bit.

The next mission on the map is one for the Marshall, and it's right next to Fort Mercer.

Then you're only a couple of missions away. When you get to Mexico, go to the story mission nearest to you. That's the guy who gives you a new gun, and the tier 3 Deadeye.

I was cougar'd once. It came up behind me and knocked me off my horse yet I was still alive. Then I showed the piece o' shit who's boss. I'm not any cougar's bitch.

A lot of the Stranger Missions end in weird ways like that. They seem to all be about Marston (you) making judgements and deciding what's right and wrong. That's just my take on it but when you consider a certain enigmatic mission giver who seems to be not-quite-human it's almost undeniable.
Does it reveal who he is? He comes across as pretty Devil-esque to me.

He comes off more like Death or God to me. I don't see how the Devil would tell Marston to go around doing good deeds for people. There's evidence to him being Death when he says a certain line at a certain significant spot later on.

I was still alive too. It hit me once from behind and knocked me down. Then I got up and killed it while it was circling round for the next attack.

They can one-shot you in online. And there is always more than one.

I tried to lure my group and Moose to the cougar area but he bitched off and signed out that time.

Haha, you mean that cabin in the middle of that snowy area?

That place is awesome. xD

There's an update for the game now. Apparently it lowers the experience you get for doing gang hideouts online.

Well that's kinda weird. Not really any reason to do that. :/

Wow, the ride into Mexico was great. Wasn't expecting anything like that.
