So I was thinking about getting this game (because I can't find any other more interesting title), but I before I buy it I want to know if

- the balance issues were fixed (some match-ups of SFIV were hopeless)
- the combo system is more lenient this time (1-frame links were impossible for me in the first game).

Some balancing issues were fixed I think, I don't really notice but that's because I don't care much since they never bothered me before other than Sagat in the original SFIV.

The combo system's pretty much the same I guess.

the combo timing is stricter >_>

but i've heard ppl say different, all i know is the combo timing has changed

The only thing I hate is that the shoulder buttons are so damn sensitive. But something tells me this may just be my controller. Either way it sucks I have to be tortured with this as it can easily screw me over.

Dudley and Sakura are the two characters I love using most and am really good with.

Dan, Cody and Hakan come after that.

i wanna try playing with adon though and will try more with guy

the characters i suck against are juri and t hawk so i might start playing with them a bit to familiarise what they can actually do, you fucked me up royally with t hawk

T. Hawk is a fucking monster, anyone in the game excluding maybe Zangief will get fucked up by most of his normals, let alone his specials and Ultra's.

The only problem he has is the same problem every grappler has, he's meant for close-ranged combat... although that's easily remedied if you're smart with Condor Dive.

And I'm terrible against Adon, I still haven't learned how to punish most of his specials when blocked and with a character like Sakura that's pretty important.

he's more technical then most probably better suited to your fighting style

just play mind games with him more and you got a freakishly good tendency not only with his count but what direction to shoot his fireball

yeah that adon sakura fight was suprisingly close considering i didn't even know how to perform his ultra
i think i guessed it once but it looked different to what i expected so i missed

His second ultra is the easier of the two to land.
