"Resident Evil" series started as a survival horror series, you fight all kinds of virus infected creatures like Zombies, Hunters, Lickers & Tyrants, you also needed to go back & forth lots of times to collect items and open doors. The camera was fixed, and you face a different view for every screen. The mood was made to frighten you in the dark, especially if you play it at night. The game series was fun back then, they still are fun, I love zombie stories because of that game series, though I used to despise them at first
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Resident Evil 4" came with lots of changes, starting with changing the camera view from fixed screens to over the shoulder camera view, no longer the virus infection to make monsters, replacing numb-skull zombies with smarter obedient talking armed organized monsters all bossed by one lord. Puzzles remained, but not as insane as they are in previous games. One of the better features here is that there is loads of money, and a merchant to sell you weapons, you can sell items to him with half of their original price, and upgrade guns, he also gives you a stronger 9mm ammo gun for free one time in case you shoot 10/15 prize crystals, nothing is ever mentioned about destroying the entire 15 peaces, but it doesn't really matter

If you play on easy mode, you can kill the merchant once on every location he stands in once, when you play new game on that save file you can still kill him as many times as you can, too bad there is no price on it. You can save on the end of every certain portion of a chapter from 5 chapters, almost every chapter is made out of three segments, you can also save using typewriters, but not required to find ink ribbons to use them. Controls are very similar to those of the previous games in the series

Main mission is to save "Ashley Graham", it get's annoying that she dies with one hit from you, or mission fails if a ganado kidnapped her and took her through a door even if you can follow through it, luckily; there are two specials that can be unlocked for both you and Ashley, there's the "RPD suit" for Leon & a "Cowboy Disco Suit" for Ashley, no effect, there is also a "Striped Suit" for Leon with a scarf & a hat, with it Ashley wears a full body armor that makes her bullet proof & too safe she can never be taken away from you, it's fun to use her as a bait or hit her with the rocket launcher to strike a group of enemies together around her, but you have to tell her to wait and keep a distance from her.

The knife is very strong, far stronger than the ones the player uses before RECVX. Infinite guns there is an electric gun that kills the plagas alone from close distance, you have to finish the pro to be able to unlock it and get it for free every time you want to from the merchant, it doesn't kill him though he's a plaga. You can also have a "Rocket Launcher" with infinite ammo after defeating the game once, but you buy it with $1,000k, and there is a powerful machine gun with infinite ammo, "Chicago Typewriter" you can buy from the merchant with $1,000k as well, but to unlock this one you have to finish one of the two Ada game modes that can be unlocked after beating the game once with Leon

The game has so many improvements over the previous of its kind, one of them is that it isn't a short game with high repetition to visiting places, it's a bit long, three-four times longer, with one sore-point; Q.T.E (Quick Time Events).

A perfect 5/5

"Resident Evil 5":
Gameplay similar to "RE4"
Annoying gun menu
Boring limit to items held
You can sell items with much less money than you must buy them with
Partnership is nice, but you're partner must medicine you when you're in danger, you can't yourself
Bad change of controls over the usual
Otherwise, it's a fun experience and a great game, you have a slightly higher array of weapons and an annoying requirement to get the infinite powerful ones, still; you can upgrade all guns to infinite ammo

Overall; 4/5

Not very well score gathering mind you, but it's quick and simple for me, and I'm an RE geek
