| Saw it tonight, and it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Most of the funny bits are in the trailer, and the darker, very graphic flashes of violence feel rather at odds with the rest of the film. It was solid enough, but never quite gelled into a truly cohesive whole. | |

From what I've heard the ending sounds to be pretty shit. The one girl never figured out that Kick-Ass was Dave and when he told her he wasn't gay she went ape shit and pretty much wrecked his shit. Hell, the comic is violent beyond all fuck and has swearing up the ass. | |
