Avatar: The Legend of Korra is amazing

Already better than the original series.

I watched this for the hell of it, despite not even giving a shit about the original, and I'm already in love

I watched it because it's not Aang, and I was very impressed.

I can't say better than the first season but I am definitely fond of the new avatar.

Korra is a badass!

So this is pretty good, definitely blows the first season of The Last Airbender out of the water.

Huge what the fuck at what happens in the last episode though

Interested to see where it will go with the next season though, I assume Korra will make a bigger name for herself hence the title.

It's got a much darker theme than the original. I never finished it though 'cause I got caught up in other shows. Better than the first season of the original but not better than the whole series.

The Last Airbender got pretty dark. It's about oppression, genocide, prejudice and war; to list a few things.

Oh. Ozai was pretty brutal burning shit left and right at the end of the series. Thankfully he did not succeed. Do we ever find out what happens to Whatshisface's Mum. Zoro or something. And BTW Thanks.

Wasn't Zuko's mum banished and that was it? I'm pretty sure that was it, anyway.

In case you can't tell from the new avatar (woah), I watched the entire series of ATLA and TLOK over the past week and really enjoyed it. I'm surprised Nickolodeon could churn out something like this.

Korra is one of the best cartoons I've ever watched.

Last Airbender was great, but Korra is almost perfection. Well almost, just Season 2 felt meh sometimes.

Book 2 was just bad. Had a shit villain, too much drama, too much character fluctuation for no constructive reason, too much PIS and DEM, etc. Though I did enjoy it to an extent. Book 1 was at least good and thank fuck they rebounded with Book 3 being the best.

I'm liking Book 4 so far.

Haha Korrasami is canon

I couldn't believe they actually made it canon. It seemed so perfect to be true with all the build up but it actually came true.

I actually saw the first couple of episodes as my nephew was watching this.

Korra seems a lot better than Aang. Steve Blum should just be in everything, and J K Simmons being in this too is really cool. I like this Amon plotline so hopefully it will be realy good.

Mixed opinions on Korra too though, why does she just get her ass kicked repeatedly, they present her like a badass in first episode then she kinda sucks, They did a similar thing with Aang where he was taking out ship crews singlehandedly Book 1 then seemed to never be able to fight people off later (hell at the beginning air was looking completely broken). Im confused why everyone can metal bend and lightning bend now like its justa casual thing. The cops use metal bending and mako is seen working in a lightning factory. This just feels like they are underplaying a lot of things that were a big deal in Aang. Hopefully this doesn't turn into some awful escalation where everything seems stupidly overpowered.
