what happened?

I quit about halfway through the boss the second time around.

After he got owned over and over and over and over by it.

Actually it was fun, next time we play(or maybe even in the real game if you're not a fag and actually buy it), I'll try to get on top of that thing again, it was hilarious, I really thought he'd do some generic "Make-you-fall-off" crap after a short while, all he did was constantly do that electric thing. It was awesome how I just had to slide off his face quickly to go inside and screw him up after you got his legs down. Sucks I totally got owned considering my ammo depleted quickly. At least I wasn't shat out.

I'll probably buy it if there's nothing else I want when it comes out.

I have no idea what you're actually supposed to do once your inside it. I just shoot wildly until I get shat out. That other guy in that was with us just stood on that ledge shooting from a distance the whole time though. I like to get up close to it just to get some value out of the scale. You have plenty of respawns anyway. I like being right next to those little plateaus it walks over and seeing it's head loom out over the top.

I just blew it's legs off, then shot it until I ran out of ammo. I managed to pick up a gattling gun, so it went down pretty quick. I never made it inside it though, I was too far away when the prompt appeared, and when I tried to jump across to it, I fell into the abyss in the centre and died.

Nah, it's the same. I've never noticed anything like that though.

I noticed some lag in the co-op though. At one point the boss just completely disappeared from my screen and appeared somewhere else. The creatures in general move a bit more erratically, like I'm missing a second here and there of their movement.

last few ppl i tried to use it with were seriously retarded

i guess i just had to do a lot more as i always go solo on these things
i shot its legs with the rocket laucnhers and the giant mechs guns
jumped in used the guns on the core

I have a headset. Only used it once or twice when playing Uncharted with Raz and some others.

I thought it was quiet noticeable, basically the whole time you're inside, there's two paths to slide down, the whole area in the middle is blocked by that black stuff, as you slide down a path, you should notice a gap in the middle and then you'll spot that giant orange thing, that's the core.
