So for Uncharted 3...

I think it should pull an Indiana Jones 4 and be about ancient astronauts from space and their connection to civilizations from the past eras. Maybe it could center around a journey starring Drake like usual from ancient wall carvings located in other places to Japan(I mean the people act weird, it totally fits) where they find a mysterious old Dogu figure(being the signature item for the game like 1's old Diary and 2's knife) which leads them deeper into finding and learning more stuff about ALIENS(and of course, finally encountering them).

Oh and to be creative, they don't need to find generic metal and futuristic items or spaceships, they could totally be out of left field and be made out of really unexpected material or something completely unusual and unique overall.

I have two other ideas too. One could be Drake learning about and surviving living undiscovered dinosaurs, being stuck with them while trying to find whatever the hell he's trying to find(this idea's to make up for that old Jurassic Park game that was totally going to be awesome and similar to Uncharted exploration-wise YEEEEEEARS AGO but sadly got canceled). The second could be the expected one everyone wants, Nate searching for Atlantis.

Egypt is also a possibility. It could even tie in with your alien thingo.

Atlantis is the obvious choice because so far they've been set around established legendary things, rather than making up some mythical item to go after.

Nathan will look for Pieces of Eden in the next one.

Well it's not a fountain, it's something totally different but it would seem repetitive to go and find something that does the exact same thing as what was in Uncharted 2.

Dogu figures aren't made up items though. They've been debated as whether aliens visited Japan years ago or not because of their bizarre designs looking like spacesuits. Atlantis would be as much of a myth as them.

Atlantis would be fun for one thing, you won't have to climb much, this time you're going down. >_>
