Which statement makes you the most hopeful?

Kishimoto: Naruto vs. Sasuke will be the final event of the manga, 2010 is Kakashi's year and Sakura will be more of a heroine.

Oda: The war and movie 10 will be Luffy's last adventures as a 17 year old.

It's the opposite. Kubo never draws shit, while it was obvious Naruto vs. Sasuke will be the final event since the beginning and Luffy is piss weak and his crewmates are on the other side of the world so a time skip is pretty likely.

Oda's been doing this manga for well over 10 years, so he's probably sick of it and Kishimoto's has always been full of shit.

Oda said two months ago he's still in the middle.

He's lying, no man can write a manga for this long and retain enthusiasm.

If Oda didn't have any enthusiam in it any more he wouldn't have spent so much time on Thriller Bark/Impel Down/War, which in the end are just sideplots (well not the war) and delay the New World.

I'm still doubting the man until we get out of the damn war.

I'm actually looking forward to see if Kishi can pull off a year of Kakashi.

Fuck this war. It was bound to fail when there weren't any SH's. Buggy's shit was cool and Croc is always badass, but ditching 90% of the main characters for the biggest even in the entire manga up to now was incredibly dumb. Just as dumb as making Ace a Mary Sue, even though he has no personality at all.

Most of the appeal from this series comes from the interaction between the SH's. When they're back together again everything will be better, because they'll be doing that other thing that makes this manga appealing: adventure.

Out of the 1000 chapters or so OP is supposed to be, I'm pretty sure this break from the crew being together will seem like nothing in the grand scheme of things.

I find it refreshing, if anything.

my thoughts on the three statements:

- Naruto
A. naruto and sasuke being the final event was painfully obvious since the first series.
B. kakashi's probably gonna be the new hokage and IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIS CORONATION, he'll look back to his past *que predictable character history arc*.
C. sakura's 'heroine' phase will likely be her gathering more info on sasuke, and maybe beating a few filler villains/karin.

- Bleach
I took this literally, he'll probably have lots of empy black panels or very large black attacks to cover most of the pages, thus using more ink. he'd do it too.

- One Piece
A. imma watch the subbed movie 10 sometime in the near future to take in the awesomeness.
B. good, now the plot can actually MOVE FORWARD at long last,

Bleach- I dont believe Kubo's, unless these next fights are gonna be quick I dont see it ending soon.
A lot of chapters of his is just one person doing one thing.
Naruto- already knew that was gonna happen. Sakura will become the next tsunade.
One Piece- Well it says as a 17 year old, so he'll be 18 and the others will join him and go on more adventures.

These statements become more hilarious every week we come closer to the end of the year. Especially Kishi's.

Is Luffy aging a year really gonna make a difference? Hasn't he been 17 since the beginning, it's only natural he just turns 18 just like that unless he got the "Ash syndrome."

It's a hint about a timeskip.
