F.E.A.R. & F.E.A.R. 2

Playing the first one now. It's pretty good. Can't wait to get to the superior 2nd one.

The gun fights are intense, Especially when you have no body armor and only 1 or 2 Med Kits. But thanks to Slo-Mo, I put bullets in all their faces while charging in ala Leroy Jenkins. XD

I get startled by the surprise "bloody face pops up" shit. And the occasional split second Alma appearance and disappearance...And if 2 is anything like the demo, Alma pops up like an attention whore. XD

Fuck! I'll never get out of this building! I just wanna find this Fettel Faggot and get it over with. ...Thing is, He occasionally pops up as an hallucination. Fucking Weird.

It's like Dead Space, It's just surprise shots of dead people's faces, Alma popping up & going away like that (Once, She actually lunged at me, The fucking bitch!) and the ever random dead body flying across the room. Oh, And the one part where the building kept shaking at every turn.

FEAR 2 has better scare scenes, Especially the hallway of the school building. The first time I went in there, It took me 20 minutes to make it through, Because I was slow in getting through there, Watching for the flashing runners that attack you...and by flashing, I mean they look like ghostly electricity dudes.

Nah, But I'm easily entertained, So they don't have to be great.

I am never playing Fear 2 again. ...Ever.

That ending was just beyond fucked up.

what happened?

Well, The typical corperate bitch screwing everyone over to save her job aside.

The final battle was a bitch. (Which isn't what turned me off, by the way.) It a battle that requires you to slow everything down just so you can shoot Keegan and his doppelgangers. Run over to a computer, Hit a switch, Then get into a bigger battle with Keegan and the wonder twins.

Every time you hit a switch, It cuts to Alma. (Who seems to be clawing away at you outside of your hallucination battle. In which you're strapped to a chair.)

When you try to go for the final switch, You get into a Button mash battle with Keegan until it tells you to press R2. Press R2, Boom, Bullet in the head. Flip the final switch....

Then it goes into the most fucked up thing ever. After a bit of a light show, It shows Alma, Who was as skinny as a corpse all this time, Suddenly has a bulge in her stomach. She approaches Becket (The Main Character), hands holding stomach (I think you're already putting two and two together now, But anyway...), Takes Becket's hand and places it on her now bulging stomach. ...I am going to have a HELL of a nightmare after this. I just know it.

And what's more, That's how the game ends. After Alma totally fucks your mind one more time. It just cuts to credits. ...Fuck you too...Whoever made this game.

...I still need to finish the first one though...Fuck. -_-

Well, That's something. The gunfights were fun. But Goddamn, What the fuck?

Being raped by a dead 15 year old while having a battle on speed against an ashed up version of your squad ally and then being treated to what happens afterwards is just all kinds of fucked up. And then it just cuts to credits, Fuck that shit. There isn't even anything else to do outside of campaign mode except for having online battles. -_- I'm just more or less done with this game now.

FEAR was a game I really enjoyed. Much like half llife 2 back in 06 when the 360 and PS3 didn't exist and I had a nice big rig computer, I played this game to death. Online and off.

Always wanted to try the 2nd one.

Is it really good compared to the first?

It has better scare moments and such. And you get to pilot a mech-like thing.

Play the demo, It'll give you a good idea on what it's like.
