What happens in the rest of the demo. I got to that bit where you fire the big crossbow and then I stopped because I was bored.

You rip off Helios' head and go through an air vent while dodging falling debris and other obstacles.
I wasn't really impressed with the demo.
That said, this demo is a year old and has most likely been made a lot better since then. Also, the E3 demo for GoW 2 took the most boring part of the game (Temple of Euryale) and I wouldn't be surprised of they did that again this time. GoW 2 turned out to be a glorious game that easily surpassed its predecessor.
The Gametrailers video should take away any doubt anyway.

So far the game has only gotten 5/5, 10/10 and 100/100 from the reviewers, or at least something very close to that.

Kai, you know as well as most of us that you can't trust reviews based on games supported by big name companies... or IGN ones.
Although, I did play the demo and for some reason I was having fun so the game can't be bad.

the demo was alright
i found the combo system easy which is probably a good thing the graphics were amazing thing was i found myself kinda bored not quite sure why i felt something was missing
great ending to the demo though this game made me feel old cause i couldn't help but think this game was gratuitously violent to the point of stupidity
and why did i get the feeling this might turn into a god of persia game
basically me getting this game depends on if the alternate weapons are any good the second weapon in the demo was just crap

I'll probably get this before Yakuza 3 because of my desire to see how this series ends.
Oh and Kevin Sorbo is voicing Hercules so that's a big plus.

8/10 from Gamereactor, which is great. This is looking to be a popular game.

God of War III is a really amazing game. The fact that this is the latest and final installment means they are finally closing the chapter of the God's once and for all. Kratos is back with a hell of a rage for all of them and is "surprisingly" overpowering every new foe he meets with even greater malice. He is at his breaking point in this game and is pretty much saying to everyone FUCK YOU I'M ENDING THIS! Many titans or god's try and get in his way all in vain only because he will not let them get away with anything. The first boss fight makes the one from the God of War II beginning look like shit. Poseidon is a total bitch for staying hidden for most of the time but in the end it's very gratifying to watch him die *cough -as is with every other fight against either titan or god-* But the kills, brutal, the fights, insane, the combat mechanics, pretty much the same for the blades of chaos and nearly any other weapon in game...but is that such a bad thing? The enemies come out in hordes, giant cyclops' are awesome (especially in death sequences), Hellhounds, cerberus', skeletons, w/e, each and every thing is killable in some awesome way! Nothing is left out in the chaos that Kratos creates. It's as he said all along, "In the end there will be only chaos." *insert mad taco face here*

They already said God of War III is not the last GoW game they're making.

I'm torn on this. I really enjoyed GoW, but thought GoW II didn't improve on any of the problems of the first, and tried to artificially inflate the difficulty by adding a boss every two minutes. From what I've seen GoW III looks like more of the exact same again. Meh, I'll probably rent it. There are other games I want more.

Four actual boss battles that are one on one with battle sequences and no strings attached (though the final battle obviously consists of multiple battles at different places).
Two boss battles that are more like levels than battles.
Two subbosses and one of them is part of the opening battle and serves the purpose of the Hydra heads and the battles against the Colossus of Rhodes.
GoW 1 had three boss battles and one subboss.

To be honest GoW III knows the balance of bosses and subbosses.
There's a total of four actual bosses in this game and a climbing a titan.
