oh, and a brief summary of the differences between wizards and sorcerers:

wizards learn their magics from years of study and mental honing, while sorcerers have natural wellsprings of magic at birth. wizards can learn a wide variety of spells and rituals, while the sorcerer learns fewer--but with greater effect and flexibility of the spells.

sorcerers and wizards like to stay amongst themselves, but dont nessecarily dislike each other. they find each other as sort of rivals--with both using the same spells but varying sources of magic.
