Not just the fault of the Japanophiles, I doubt that many Americans really cared to see it anime-watchers or no.

It's pretty blatant that other audiences would be trippy on the film too, but I'm mainly pointing out how the Japanophiles, Otakus and casual fans alike are in mass numbers who all praise Astro Boy and talking about how it's always thanks to that series inspiring now classic artists of the manga/anime world prior to the downfall of faggotry this decade and a half.

Yeah, totally awesome movie. Only thing I didn't like much was how Toby's death was handled near the beginning the pacing of everyone's introductions excluding Tenma was a bit too quick. Everything else was super smexy awesomeness.
