And I just watched the original. 1954: Godzilla Not quite what I was expecting, being more familiar with the cheesy Godzilla vs Random Monster theme. It's like, a serious film and Godzilla isn't main character. He's basically the atomic bomb personified, not 10 years after it actually happened. The credit sequence was actually a bit creepy. It's just title cards with big booming ...

So I have never watched Indiana Jones.

Evil Dead 2 - Much better. The humor with the horror and showing Ash's ascent into total badass was nice too.
Army of Darkness - Best of the evil dead movies. Combines great action with horror.

I quite enjoyed it, though it seemed pretty loose with it's own rules, and every cast member from the original who wasn't Ben Stiller was reduced to cameos at best. Amy Adams was pretty cute though, and she wears very tight trousers. Which was nice.

The script and story wasn't quite as sharp as the first film, but there are still enough amusing moments to keep everyone happy, and there's a lot more fighting here, with Optimus Prime in particular getting a few scenes where he utterly murders numerous Decepticons. There were a few downers, in that Megatron is revived early on but is criminally underused, the ending feeling a little flat, and if you've got a short attention span then it's 150minute running time ...
