Alright, finally played it.
Graphically it's alright; the character models and textures are impressive enough, the QTE death events are even more graphic now (disembowel a centaur and you literally watch his guts fall out of him, and when you rip out a Cylcops' eye, you can see the optic nerve still attached and hanging from the eyeball) and the scale is very much what we've come to expect, in that the backgrounds are just as busy and entertaining as what ever's going on in the foreground. The frame rate is a bit choppy though, and it's not the change to HD that makes the biggest difference, that honour goes to the lighting; everything is
very dark, and this means that every attack you do with the Blades of Chaos lights up the stage. It's an impressive sight initially, though it's wearing thin after a few minutes.
Gameplay wise, little seems to have changed. I was playing PSP's Chains of Olympus just yesterday, and you could easily interchange them for the most part. Sure, GoWIII is on a grander scale, but then it bloody well should be on the PS3.
Honestly, I found it a little underwhelming.
